A superchill place to progress FAST!!!
I spent 7 months here as an instructor, and i can only advise anyone on any level to visit this place. The wind might be
light for some people’s taste, but don’t get fooled by reviews or big air fanatics telling there is no wind here. In the 2019 season through the 7 months i spent there, there was less than 30 days without wind. Lessons and rentals are cheap too, and if you book with a school most of the time you’ll get pretty good deals on accomodation too. In this area driving is not hard so don’t be afraid to rent a car, but make sure you have insurance. Also try not loosing your key, as this is going to be a long process, and hassle as well. Due to the nature of the spot, it’s perfect for progression on any level, from total beginner to ranked professional, but probably not for big air abviously.
Most time of the year there is a steady 15-17 kts, with spring and fall time occasinally blowing well over 25. All the rest is around 11-15kts and it’s very rare to go below kiteable range.
Sicily also has plenty of historical sights, and beutiful trails to hike. Naturally it’s very rich with culture too.
Only downside is that bigger cities can be really messy, and littering is quite a big problem on the island, but around the vacation and kite spots it’s less of a problem.

Great spot from the beginners to the expert riders
It's a great spot with shallow and flat water, and stable wind. You have a chance to find some wind even if the forecast
says nothing, so bring your biggest kites as well.
On the shore, you don't have too much space, and the wind can be gusty here, so if you are not an expert rider, launch from the water, or ask for help.
There's a couple beach bars where you can get cold drinks and good food, but you may have to walk a couple minutes to get there.
