SCK ALL THE WAY

I was last at Surf Club Keros in the summer of 2018 when I was working there as a kitesurfing instructor from May until October. The spot itself and the facilities of the club are fantastic. SCK shares the bay of Keros with two other kite schools however SCK are the biggest and most well known of them all. As well as kitesurfing, they also have a big focus on windsurfing but everything is organised and managed in such a way that there is plenty of space for everyone. On the beach there is a lot of space to chill while you wait for the meltemi wind to build or to relax in between sessions with plenty of shade and hammocks available. There is also a snack bar for quick and easy fuel and of course a cold frappe or two. The wind was at its most consistent from June to September however by the end of September the weather changed from very sunny and hot and got quite wet and cold. SCK also have plenty of accommodation options only a short walk from the beach which are glamping style canvas tents however don't let the description mislead you. The luxury tents are better than some 5* hotels i've stayed in before. If you want guaranteed windy days with a local authentic experience of Greece and to dine on fresh cuisine then a week or two at SCK will satisfy all your needs. more less
